Nancy I understood what you were saying. Petzlfe works well for so many of us and then someone will post that it's dangerous even though so many of us use it with no problems and it scares people away. I agree that warnings based on personal experience are helpful for many, but I think it's the type of product that you truly have to try for yourself. I stand by my opinion that part of the reason I'm brushing is for tartar but honestly part of it is also to make their breath better and I'll take mint flavored over poultry flavored any day. Unless you are overusing the Petzlife in large quantities I'm sure it's fine. |
I wouldn't give poultry digest either.
With some hesitation, I use one with sorbitol only because there aren't adverse reports on it for dogs. Ellie's toothpaste is vanilla-mint flavored and it smells like root beer floats.
