The boys went for their shots last week. Keegan (our 7 yr old) had had a seizure that morning so the vet did blood work on him. When he called on Monday he said that Keegan's kidney enzymes were slightly elevated. He said that I should switch him to a kidney formula. I know the vet has one in stock but after reading some posts here I realize that he may not have the best food for my boy. I'd like to get YTs thoughts on what may be the best brand for Keeg.
Another thing, he has been on the same food since he was a pup, which is an Science Diet RD because our 12 yr old Clarance has a tendance to pork up. Anyway, Keegan has always chewed at his paws & toenails & recently he has been itching & chewing at his crotch area...a LOT. I feel so bad for him.....Any thoughts?
