The OP did not come here to look for a puppy...And did you give any of the good as requested?
Nope.
And then you say...
Well again you are right, I am a new member, I came across this thread in the back end stats of the website I maintained for my brother the breeder and was interested in knowing why you thought the two dogs shown "never should have been bred". I have been to their kennel and have seen the love and care they give to the puppies (and parents), and I have seen how they treat their customers and there is not one thing deserving of the badmouthing you and others gave.
Yes the site is closed, they opted to close it down due to the postings on this thread. |
As the webmaster for the site you might want to consider that in advertising on the web you offer your "Wares" up for consideration to THE WHOLE WORLD, novice and expert alike. Whether the breeder is breeding to the standard is fundamental to whether they are a good breeder. This site happens to have many members that know the standard like the back of their hands.
They were asked for an opinion and they gave it. Sometimes good people on two sides of an issue have differing opinions, but in this situation the people you are passing judgement on did not seek out the site, they responded with honest opinions.
The opinions were aimed at breeding practice, non-standard breeding, breeding at what appears to be a commercial level, and using wire crates. These are all indicators of a basic puppy breeding business. If you are in the business, and rely on the income to eat, you
have to make decisions much differently than if you are breeding to improve the breed, it's just a fact of life.
