Cooper is one and we have started a second round of puppy classes. It went very well the first time, but he has started to bark at other dogs. So, I signed up for another puppy course and the first class was a nightmare. He barked the whole time and had to wear a bandana to warn the other dogs that he was "nervous." But when we went to the second class, things were much better. He barked a few times at the beginning and settled down quickly.
The teacher of the class said that the more exposure he gets to other dogs, the less barking I will have to deal with. I hope that will be the case! |
