I feed mine California Natural Lamb & Rice and we have no problems. For snacks they get green beans, carrots either cooked or raw, apple, banana, treats from the dog bakery...I also give them a small amount of cottage cheese with their dinner and sometimes a small bite or two of chicken breast or roast beef.
I was watching 'It's Me or The Dog' a couple of weeks ago and she told one girl that a high protein food was the culprit...it's just as appealing to them afterwards as it is before they eat it. I don't know if there's any truth to that though. I've also heard you can use pineapple with their food and that's supposed to stop the habit. |
