He's become very vocal lately. He also is getting big enough to jump up on everything. He jumps in the dryer, coffee table, kitchen etc. Will he grow out of this? I love him but I can't deal with this behavior. I'm afraid he'll hurt himself. He seems to be worse in the evening. He gets plenty of exercise and attention.
He's full of puppy energy and is entering the adolescent "rebellious teenager years" also. Try taking him for longer walks, a pooped out puppy is a well behaved puppy! Have you taken him to any obedience classes? He needs to be trained as to what is and is not acceptable, he's not going to outgrow bad behavior! Children don't outgrow bad behavior, they're taught what is acceptable and what is not. A very good book to get "Before and After Getting Your Puppy" by Ian Dunbar. p.s. do you think he has some "CAT" in him!!??
