You didn't say how old he is. so I'm guessing that he is a puppy.
if he is playing too rough you need to behave as his litter mates would behave. they would yelp and move away from him and refuse to play. Don't push him away or he will think you are playing. they understand a ylep they do not understand human language. Although many people will tell you they do.
If the yelping and moving away does not make him stop, then you need t5o act as his mother would and snap at him. Use your hand like a mouth and snap at him while touching his shoulder.
Just keep doing this until he gets the message that if he won't play nice you won't play with him.
also make sure that he has plenty of appropriate toys to chew on.
It is very important that you do let him know that you are the bow, or he will take over and then you will have problems. |
