Thanks, everybody. I just dropped Jack off. I love the surgeon. He really took time to explain the procedure, and he's confident it's going to come out fine. Lots of risks, but he's the best. He was pleased at Jack's muscle tone because he wants to use some of that to repair the hernia.
The surgery is scheduled for "early afternoon," and it's just noon here now. So I'm not expecting to hear anything for four more hours at least.
I got to spend an hour with him today, and his spirits were great. He was mad at me for leaving him at pet emergency all night, but he forgave me and gave me some kisses. The sickness he was feeling yesterday had passed, and he was HUNGRY because they hadn't fed him prior to the surgery. He kept trying to scam a treat out of my pocket.
