My vet has always taken blood from the hind legs of my dogs, once he took blood from Charlies Jugular when he was sick with the flu, he had gotten dehydrated and his veins in his legs were hard to find since he was dehydrated but that was the only time my vet took blood from one of my dogs jugular even though Charlie stood still and didn't jerk i was still worried about it and wouldn't want him to do it again. |
