I am glad you asked the question, because I wondered myself, generally I don't go longer than a week, it takes about that time anyway for her to go thru most of the can. I am going to do like one of the other post suggest and take it out of the can and use a plastic container instead....just hope my teenage son don't go raiding the frig in the middle of the night with his eyes "half closed!!"
