i think it was wrong that your roommate spank you dog. but i think maybe she thought she was doing the right thing, and was only trying to help? not everyone is educated about the proper way to potty train dogs. (especially if she is not a dog owner herself)
so from her point of view, she might have thought that you were rude and mean to her when she was just trying to help you train your dog.
it's hard to change ppl's mind about stuff. like some people believe that you spank the dog to train them, and they think it's silly to do anything else.
i would just keep my dog in the room, and train him myself, and once he is potty trained, you won't have to worry about your roommate spanking him or anything. and i think over time your roommate might learn the proper way to train dogs. maybe not though. but i think she was trying to help you, and trying to keep the dog company. if she wasn't trying to help, she would probably just ignore the dog and let it do whatever, and not even make any effort what-so-ever. i mean, what she did was bad, but i think maybe she just doesn't know any better?? |
