I really would recommend to anyone with fleas, Vectra and Capstar for the pets. Then for the carpets spread powder detergent with baking soda in it (Arm and Hammer makes some), let it sit for awhile, then vacuum it up. Then clean your carpets with a steam cleaner and clean your furniture, dog beds, human beds, clothes, etc.
