As for you getting a new one, the guy at the store said Oreck customers are the most loyal customers of all vacuum brands. He said that oftentimes when the warranty or free tune-ups run out, people will trade in their old Oreck for a new one. He said you get money off a brand new vacuum when you "trade-in" your old one...kind of like a car I guess!

Congratulations!! I hope you love it. One other thing I learned over the weekend, [which has nothing to do with how good the vacuum is ... or maybe everything!] the owner of the company is a
good man! He's old and funny and really cares about his employees and his product. I saw him interviewed on a news show. Don't know about others, but I like to know these things!!
