I went to the Oreck store on Friday, and I've decided I'm definitely going to get one! I needed a night or two to sleep on it to make sure (bc that's a lot of money for me to spend on a vacuum), so I'm going back tomorrow morning to get it!!!!!
As for you getting a new one, the guy at the store said Oreck customers are the most loyal customers of all vacuum brands. He said that oftentimes when the warranty or free tune-ups run out, people will trade in their old Oreck for a new one. He said you get money off a brand new vacuum when you "trade-in" your old one...kind of like a car I guess!
