We had a two month fight with fleas in our house. Frontline, flea collars, flea spray, flea baths, put baking soda on the carpet and vaccuumed it up, cleaned the carpets, bombed the house, used raid... EVERYTHING. We went to the vet and they gave us this stuff called Vectra the you start at their shoulder blades and go all the way down the back and a pill called CapStar that you give them orally. You give the CapStar first and it's supposed to kill anything in their bodies. Apparently fleas can get inside of their bodies and cause infections and mutate into a type of worm. In half an hour everything is supposed to be dead. You put the Vectra on 30 minutes after the Capstar and it kills everything outside of the body. Anything that bites on for 30 days after that day will immeadiately be killed. We haven't had a problem with fleas for about 2 weeks now.
