Had you discussed getting a Yorkie with your husband before your search? I'm not real big on a partner treating the other like a kid telling them what they can do or buy, but I am big on talking things over before coming to any decision. Adopting any dog is a major responsibility, and if taken care of properly they can live to be 16 and up and can have costly Vet. bills. I don't think they should be impulse purchases.
Maybe your husband will even help you look for just the right fur-baby some day.
