Hey!! don't be sorry!! You didn't offend me at all!! You gave your opinion and I gave mine....this tends to be a very opinionated place You can't legally give a patient medical advice. I can give my customers my opinion. If I see something that may be a problem, I point it out to my customers and tell them to have their vet check it. If I see a customer making an uneducated move like breeding a very small poodle with severe hip displaysia, I very nicely try to explain to them why it's probably not a good idea. If you gave medical advice to a patient you would probably loose your rn liscense. I could loose the business of a customer, but I would rather take that chance than see a dog suffer.
