I have a 5 year Yorkie named Darby. I just got her in July. She was doing good in the begining with going out to go potty. I don't know what happened. I never see her go in the house, but I find little poopies once in awhile. I never find wet spots. I know she has to be going somewhere. She does not like cold or rain, so I want to train her to go on pads. What do you recommend? I've tried moving the pads to where she has been, but she won't use them. I've tried putting them in a crate. Dosen;t work ! What can I do?
Also, I use flea treatment on her, but she has fleas, and now a rash. I gave her a flea bath but I think that gave her the rash. What can I do about that?

Hi DoJo welcome to Yorkietalk, you are lucky to be 100% with pee training, poop training does have special difficulties, when using a pad. I found that most Yorkies don't like too poop and pee in the same place. and having two or three pads helps. Joey likes to poop in out of the way places, and I place a couple of pads in "hidden" areas, and he will be more likely to use them, he's about 90 percent. Sometimes it's close to the pad. I think those people who have regular dogs that go about 5 minutes after eating have it a little easier, and they either take him for or walk or tether the dog to them and set out several pads ensuring that the dog uses one, and then is rewarded. You also might try using a poop pad that is a different material than the pee pads, and I found that placing the poop on the pad helps him understand. '
I can't help you with the flea problem, and I are suggest you start a new thread, in the general forum and describe the problems your having, many people just read the first post in a thead, and don't respond to the other posts, again welcome to Yorkietalk. Here's a link to the general forum.
