They will often weigh a bit less before surgery bc they've had no food/water too, so try not to worry too much. As long as her body "feels" right - not too cushy, not too bony - she is probably the right weight for now. I always go by my guys' ribs - they should feel not too "buried" and not too prominent. Also, the little ones (like my Marcel) often have little growth spurts later too - so she may still put on a little weight yet.
milu is feeling better today, still not as active as i had hoped, but definitely better than yesterday. so i am super happy!

plus i took her back to the vet this morning, because i wanted him to look at her to make sure her stitches looked ok, and vet said everything looked fine.

so i am a VERY happy mama today!

I mean, i don't mind if milu wants to stay a tiny baby, i was just concerned that she would be unhealthy. because people always say, small size dogs = health problems. well, at least it seemed like a lot of people say that.
but i am sure if small size is going to make her unhealthy, me making her a FAT small dog is not going to solve the problem! so i will just relax more about the feeding and the weight
