I feel bad because It sounds like I am badmouthing him. He really is a good husband, he works very hard, and expects very little from me...meals, and a clean house... but he can be so selfish sometimes it is just plain irritating.

The old passive aggressive me wouldn't have cooked dinner, and told him I was too busy steam cleaning and doing laundry, plus filling orders...there was no time.

Throwing fits doesn't work...he thinks its funny when I get mad..it happens so rarely.

Reasoning with him doesn't work either, because he just comes back with they are "MY DOGS"

Maybe he needs a shock collar???
Perhaps a stern "no" with a spritz of water from a spray bottle?

I know what you mean about your husband not being a bad guy - my boyfriend is not a bad guy, but we all have our days!

I had to read a book in school called Don't Shoot the Dog - it talks about how you can "train" other family members just like you train the dog with positive reinforcement techniques. Well Rory was easy to train...still working on the rest of the family!
