I too work from home. I still live with my parents - in my country, most people do that until they're married. My stepdad isn't fond of dogs, but tough luck, my mom loves them and she's the main provider of this family
He claims he has "allergies"... but my mom lets the dogs romp on their bed when he's out working - and he sleeps in it still, no problem.
Unlike a friend of mine who will get all red and itchy from the merest contact.
And then, we brought the dogs to the mountains for a vacation, now every night Mocha will bark, when before she's not much of a barker - it's driving me nuts.
Sorry to follow the rant.. Just want you to know I feel your pain, I have alot of problems with my stepdad.. but good thing for me I bought Mocha and take care of her with my own money, so he can't say nothing.
