princess used to do the same thing a couple months ago! it was around 3 am too.. my mom was all "no if it was a ghost they'd only come out at midnight"
but from the poster above.. guess not! princess would stare at this one corner of the wall and be freaked out to go near it... never done this before.. she always sleeps.. sounds or not.. she sleeps all night.. she was so scared and didnt wanna go near it.. so i put her near the wall and she kept jumping back onto my lap.. rest of the night she just stared at that wall and then eventually fell asleep
