This pill is a broad spectrum worm pill. It kills heartworms as well as tapeworms, roundworms and hookworms. In my opinion, unless you're having a problem with worms in your area, this is just too much medicine, especially for little yorkies. It's probably A LOT more expensive than other heartworm medications as well. I prefer Interceptor, which is plain heartworm medicine. It's cheap and it does the job. If your yorkie ever gets any other kind of worms, you'll know it and you can treat them then. |
