I actually got this recipe from a friend a month or two ago. I was soooooooooo eager to try it out. First attempt, don't know what I did but it was horrendous! Second attempt I was trying to be exact and perfect, a small cake might need extremely exact measurements. Anyway, second attempt, slightly better, but still not good.

I followed the directions except I had no chocolate chips on hand. My microwave is 1100 watts so I mic'ed it for about 2:30-2:45 minutes. It did rise but not very much and not over the mug. The overall texture was spongy and rubbery (which makes me think that even 2:30 burnt it). I'm not sure. The only thing I can think of that might be making me kill this potentially awesome cake is that I used regular flour, not self rising flour.

But then again I'm not a baker, I can cook, and I can cook desserts but I'm not the best at baking.
