I had my 1st pup microchipped when he was neutered at 5 months and have had no problems whatsoever with it. My 2nd pup is set to get neutered this week and I will have him microchipped at that time as well. It is just one more safety precaution in my book and I would be devastated if I lost one of my little guys so anything I could do to ensure their safe return is A-OK in my book.
