Rainbow New yorkie, he is a year old and tiny. My first yorkie. Any advise?

So I pick him up on saturday, from the breeder... I guess that the person who bought him left him in a hot car for too long and now he is back with the breeder (not sure if he was taken away or is she just gave him back). Anyway his birthday was 10/1/2007 so he just turned a year and he is my first yorkie. And the first dog of my own! I have had dogs growing up with my mother. And have always drempt of getting a yorkie. Well now my boyfriend and I are getting our first!

He is supposed a little special. "forest gump" special they say... he walks a little sideways sometimes and gets tired after extended walking around, and he can't play fetch or anything like that. I am thinking with a little "physical therapy" work he will get a little better. Okay so I keep getting off topic because I am just so excited!!!

I just wanted some advice, of course I have read everything about yorkies possible... just some personal advise. I was told he weighed 1.3 pounds. Maybe a little help to keep him happy at such a small size? What brand of pee pads and food to get him? Treats all yorkies love. Just a little bit of advise. Thank you!
