What's worse is their attendance policies are all 2-3 classes missed per semester and I'm freaked out that I'm going to be in trouble, even though my grades are all really good!
So I have 2.5 more months of school and only 1 more class that I can potentially miss and with the way this season is setting up with me being sick all the time, I'm almost positive I'll go over that .
I don't go to the dr every time I'm sick because really all they can do is tell me to ride it out or sometimes give me antibiotics if needed, but I guess I am not one of those people that can just push through the day when my lungs are burning and I'm wheezy and blah.
Anyhow, thank you for listening you all -- I am just right now and sad because I should be in class |
My youngest son suffers from asthma, and he missed days from school, just like you, I did not take him to the Dr. every time he had an episode, but to avoid any problems in school,I had the dr. write a letter, explaining his condition and to excuse occasional school absences as a result of this.
They did accept this letter signed by the dr. and did not have any problems at the end of school year.
Hope it works for you
