Reinell, I am so glad to started this post as I was starting to wonder about this stuff myself. I'm getting my first Yorkie puppy in a few weeks and was a bit confused as I've always been told not to bath my dog (chihuahua) more than like once every eight weeks. But then I heard Yorkshire Terrier need bathing a lot more regularly than that. I dont get it, why is it so different for the two breeds?!

Also, should I be using a puppy shampoo to begin with or a conditioning shampoo and conditioner? Gosh, it's sooo exciting, I cant wait to get my little girl!
