Hi everyone,

I did a search for threads related to how often a Yorkie should be bathed and did not find what I was looking for so I have created a new thread here.

I thought it would be good to bathe my Rocky every 3-4 weeks or so (I heard shampoo can be irritating and drying). My family has been telling me that my Rocky can smell a bit (like a dog) though so I have bathed him when they say that. He is a dog, of course, so it is OK for him to smell like one but I am assuming it is not a good smell (I love him how he is!).

How often do you other YTers bathe your Yorkies?

Rocky has not gotten a haircut yet but he is almost 5 months old now and just started losing his teeth last weekend (so cute!!!). When is the 'normal' time to give your Yorkie his/her first haircut?
