Chihuahua rescues are gearing up. You can do your part by boycotting the movie and discouraging people you know from buying a Chihuahua just because they thought it was cute in the movie. Very true! Same thing happened to Bichons when J.R. won at Westminster a few years ago, the first Bichon ever to win. People rushed out to buy a cute little puppy that grew up to be a real dog that needed lots of care and many of them wound up in rescues and shelters. The reprecussions were felt for years. So sad.
