Here in the Uk it's illegal for petshops to sell cats or dogs (they do sell hamsters, gerbils etc)...but I can imagine how heartbreaking it must be to walk into a shop and see them in the way you've all described. I'd never even heard of a puppy mill until I joined YT, and I think it must be so hard for people who aren't educated about them to see the puppies in the window and not want to buy one....maybe even feel like they've 'rescued' them. I think education is the key to stopping this. xxx |
