I am sorry you are going through such a rough time right now. I am sure the situation is really frustrating for you. I just want you to know that people here are just trying to help, even though i see how it might sound kind of bad from your perspective since you are already trying really hard. But people (we) don't know the whole story when reading your post, and since we are all yorkie lovers, we'll jump on anything that sounds like it's not good/healthy for yorkies because we care and want to make it better for these little babies, since they can't speak for themselves.
Speaking from experience, I own three bunnies as well as my baby milu. I knew SOOOOO little about bunnies before, and made so many mistakes. It wasn't because i was trying to be mean to the bunnies, it was because i didn't know i was doing the wrong things for them.
Anyways, what i am trying to say is that people are not saying that you are a bad mom. (not at all) they are just commenting what they read in your post and trying to help better the current situation.
And I actually have another suggestion for you that might possibly work, I will type it up later. (sorry, I don't have time atm)
As for your original question. to leave water or not to leave water? I would definitely leave water for chewie.
