Marcel will bark and go berserk if there is a white-haired person on the TV - he cannot tolerate it. Runs up to the TV and goes ballistic. He doesn't like John McCain at all.
However, he adores Opera - if there is a soundtrack of opera on a movie or someone singing - he will freeze, look at the TV - and tilt his head from side to side, entranced.
Of course, both Marcel and Wylie will have little episodes if there is the sound of dogs, doorbells, or doorknocks on the TV
