awww, babies first hair cut. Be sure to take pictures of her all gussied up! You're lucky that you could be with her during the cut. I would love to find a groomer that would let me stay with Gracie, since I can't I just struggle thru doing it myself.
These wee ones can have weepy eyes and when it dries it can harden on them and cause sores. Check the corners of her eyes, right by the bridge of her nose, if you see gunky stuff there you need to wash it off. If it's already hardened you can just wet it, let it soak for a few seconds and then work it off. We wash faces daily to help keep it from building up.
When we got Boo he had a lot already dried on and it took several days to work it all off. I used wet cotton balls and just held them on him for a little while, then used a fine tooth comb and my finger nail to work some loose. Be very careful to not poke the eye. Boo is a very tolerant and patient boy and although it must have hurt like the dickens, he sat still and let us work on it. We were sure to do only a little at a time then let him rest and gave him treats for sitting so still. Actually put a tiny little bit of Neosporin(sp?) on afterwards to help heal the sores.
