I totally agree with this. If we let Sophie sleep all evening and don't have a play session before bed to get her tired she wakes up a lot through the night.
As far has her licking your hubby (lol) Sophie wants to do that to. I keep her in a crate by my bed until six in the morning. I let her potty before bed and I will not open her crated until six. She goes out to potty and then gets in bed with us. We had to scold her a little over trying to wake hubby up and she now does really well with our routine. Unless she sleeps to much in the evening and wakes up super early. Hope this helps.
