Gypsy reacts when I turn it off. I watch tv in my office which is also the dog's room. This is where they stay when we are gone. I usually turn on the tv when I get home. 10 is bed time and as soon as I turn off the tv she heads to the door, like she is saying come on mom, bed time. Dtr was visiting them while we went on an overnight trip and she sd she turned off the tv and they did the same thing with her.
