So, we were sitting on the couch last night watching some recorded episodes of Meerkat Manor - when my little thug girl Izzy, who was sleeping next to me, goes on major alert. She starts growling and staring at the tv, where there was a close up of one of the meerkats - then she lets out this fierce bark - you know - like a "someones at the door - we're being invaded" bark. It was hilarious! She alternated between growling and staring at the tv for pretty much the whole 30 minute show. I sure wish I had had my camcorder handy
It got me to thinking - I've had a lot of dogs over the years, but I can't remember ever having on who paid any attention to the "picture" on the tv. I've had them bark at tv doorbells, etc., but never totally freak out over an image on the tv - and she definitely was.
Anyone else have dogs who watch/react to images on tv?

That will explain the "thug girl" comment too!
