Often a yorkie will be darker at the roots of the blue showing good saturation of pigment. As far as his color deepening up over time it depends on his line. Connor broke to a lighter blue and than deepened as he matured, he has a pup that just started showing that is doing the same. They'll keep you guessing until they are about 2 years old so enjoy the ride!
