My dog has early on set Alopecia but it is the right colour but went silver early and now is going blond on her back. Bold nose and very limited coverage on ear.
It has hair but not a great deal. To the point I was told not to shave it for the summer it not grow back so just trims.
We did give melitonine for a while to help grow some hair.
In Blue borns my understanding is the hair is brittle my dog has very soft and silky hair.
Best course of action be to find a vet that specializes in skin and hair and see what they say. My vet called in back up right away when I asked about the hair as we thought we might have leather ear and nose happening.
