How horrible. I'm so sorry for the loss of your little baby. There really is nothing that can help with the pain but time itself.... and even that isn't quick.
It sounds like you have some pretty special memories of her ~ hang on to those.
No, she can never be replaced, but I would definitely take compensation from the vet. If you are not quite ready for another little girl, ask your vet if they can hold off a while till you are ready.
