my baby is pretty good about sleeping at night. so i got kind of lucky with not having to stay up to play with her at night. Some things you might try to do is maybe walking your baby in the pm, and feeding him closer to bedtime (sometimes, this can give them "food-coma" and make them sleepy). Just try to make him tired by exercise and food.
