The vet should have run a fecal test on the stool to check for parasites. Many times puppies will have coccydia, one of mind did and medicine cleared it up. It could be from stress as well but I would try and take another sample in Monday to your vet and ask to check it if he still has blood in his poop. Hope it was just stress related. Congratulations on your new puppy!!!
