Lol, I know!! I mean, it was almost instantaneous that his breathing completely normalized when we crossed the THRESHOLD of the vet's office. I mean, come on, man!

I too thought about bite, but there was no stiff limbs, no drooling, swelling, lethargy - I mean, he was alert - he just could not get air. It's still possible, but it just wasn't quite all there for the bite. Plus, it cleared right up. I'm now pretty sure he inhaled a down fluff from our comforter - and it almost totally blocked his airway. Scary.
