Just talked to my boss about it and I think next time I catch the owner of all the buildings I'm going to talk to him about it and she what he has to say. Just the fact that he's been in our office a number of times and has pet Mia and has told me straight out that its ok that she's here, I feel a little better about our office in particular.

I bet that's it. A lot of people are afraid of big dogs, even sweet big dogs like labs and newfies. Someone probably complained. The owner can't discriminate and let small dogs stay and ban big dogs, so he probably had no choice but to adopt a no pet policy.
What a shame. You have been so lucky to be able to take Mia to work with you.
