 My little baby's heart!
Hi everyone. I'm new to this site, but I have a very important question to put out there. I have two yorkies. Both of them will be three next month. My little one has developed complete heart block!! I live in south Florida, and my cardiologist is making arrangements for me to take her up to the University of Florida, to have a pacemaker put in. Since this all just happened, it's not congenital. They have found no underlying cause, so they believe it is most likely hereditary. Has anyone else ever faced this problem in a yorkie so young? And so small ... she only weighs 5 1/2 pounds! I have to be honest, I'm petrified, and any input would be appreciated. |
