How scary!!! SO glad he is okay! From what you're describing, it sounds like he's sore, tired, but probably okay. What a godsend that a vet was there to look him over! During a fight/attack like that - you can imagine that adrenaline was flying through his little body and that every muscle was tight/prepped in his body, so this would place his entire body under stress and also easily cause a muscle pull/strain during the fight - so soreness would be quite normal. Plus, if the dog's teeth caused any brusing, that would hurt too. So, maybe keep a close eye on him and bring him in to the vet if he seems to increasingly favor a limb. And, of course - just give him some of that extra-good Mama lovin'.
