I hadn't even thought about a crate for my puppy. But why would I need one if I have a play pen. His food, water, pee pad toys and pillow will be in his play pen. I also have a baby gate for the opening to that room so as he grows he can have the run of the room, so why would I need a crate? Is it only for night time use? What do you put in it?
