More than likely what she said has actually happened. The dog doesn't like children, gets nervous and snaps. She doesn't want to send her to a home with a child. I know if I were rehoming, I'm not going to just send a dog to an incompatible home (for the rest of her life) just for the money. Granted, she shouldn't have come down on you for contacting the breeder. But if she decides not to rehome for her reasons...that's up to her (unless otherwise stipulated in the original contract between seller and breeder). This is within her rights as breeder or pet owner to decline a sale for said reasons. Best thing would've been was advised. Accept the decline, ask for deposit back. |
