I'm sure it will be fine but I know how it must break your heart. I feel bad leaving Roxie for more then 3-4 hours. She's always ok and is so happy to see us when we get back. I just make sure she has plenty of food and water and treat her when I'm leaving and when I come back. I don't make a big deal of it for they have to know that sometimes this is just the way it is. Doesn't mean I still don't feel bad though. Since your new to the area I'd be very careful who you trust right away. A daycare would be better then someone like a dogwalker you've just met. Unless you have had good references about the dogwalker. You just never know. Not trying to scare you but someplace on here I read of a woman who was just moving and had her neighbor watch her furbaby. When she went to get the pup it was gone. I'm sure someone on here might remember that post. Anyway good luck and I'm sure all will be fine if you leave your baby home.
