ps...since this is a dog site - the Humane Society and Best Friends are working hard to save the animals left behind ...and there were alot.
After Katrina... the state decided to let people take their pets when evacuating - but many didn't didn't or couldn't -
all the animals are in shock and many probably died...but the HS is out there doing all they can. The shelters are needing help.
I never in my life thought I'd see cows walking down the middle of Galveston's streets.... |
